This document (which is fully laid out below) is the most important ideological manifest of the Hamas movement's ideals, objectives and methods. It is an extremely radical, racist and violent vision for the Middle East. The Hamas believes that "The Jews are responsible for all wars in the world". One of the more interesting things in the covenant is the kind of Anti Semitic slander that appears in it. They have mixed into their hatred old style European anti Semitic themes such as relying on the infamous "protocols of the elders of Zion" as well as blaming the Jews everything bad in the world. They even spew paranoid hatred against organizations like the Free Masons, Rotary Lion etc similar to paranoia of the Nazis and Fascists. |

When people refer today to the “philadelphi” route they mean the part of the route from the sea to Kerem Shalom – effectively it’s the border between Hamas ruled Gaza and Egypt. | ||
