Not because despite his untimely efforts, Ehud has failed in his sincere attempts to bring peace to his people, but because he has succeeded, be it unintentionally, to unveil the unfortunate bitter truth about the real intentions of Israel’s arab neighbours. Dream on you pacifists, endure your self-inflicted pain. There’s no hope in waving your peace flags in the faces of those that burn your national flag and disrespect the essence of your existence.
