I sincerely hope that you will again run and head Israel into a new and safer era. I saw you speak with eloquence (I even taped it) with Tim Russert on tv a few months ago in USA and I completely agree with everything you had to say. And you are right about "middle America". I am a "middle American" and we applaud the Israeli's for standing firmly against terrorism right in the middle of the hornet's nest so to speak. I want to make a suggestion about the latest "solution" involving the deportation of palestinian terrorists famlies. Allow me to quote a small piece in our news: Israel's attorney general, Elyakim Rubinstein, has determined that relatives of West Bank suicide bombers can be deported to Gaza — but only if they had a direct link to acts of terrorism, officials said. The proposal prompted international condemnation. The White House said it would take up the matter with the Israeli government, and U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan said self-defense does not justify "collective punishments." I think ONE thing is not being made clear enough here and I have not seen nor heard a single Israeli step up to the plate on a valid point. These families that "had a direct link to acts of terrorism" are in fact accomplices to mass murder and should not be just deported in a friendly manner but be tried in a court of Israeli law as accomplices to mass murder! Kofi Annan and the anti-semetic UN make me sick. In USA if we knew Timothy McVeigh's family helped plan the Oklahoma bombing - or helped put him in touch with bomb making gear etc they would immediately be tried as accomplices to that act of terrorism! I find it appauling the international community (including Israel) is leaving this point unsaid! I can't stress how important that is. I feel you should once again come before our Congress and speak and make light of this very important fact. Deportation may be a deterrent but when your entire family may be held accountable in Israeli court for terrorism - that should send a far stronger message. Another thing I cannot stomach is our (USA's) own reluctance to point the finger at the money behind terrorism - Saudi Arabia. Yes, many of us are aware of what these perverted and demented imaams and so forth are teaching regardless of the fact politicians cannot bring religion into this. Keep strong and keep the faith. We are by your side even if the Bush administration waffles from time to time. Several months ago our own Congress, which of course I'm sure you are aware, overrode Bush in favor of stronger Israeli support and condemnation of the phony Jenin investigation. We actually laughed watching IDF footage of "dead" palestinians fall off of a stretcher and have to run to catch up with it. Stand strong, keep the faith and keep up the good work. Americans by and large are rooting for Israel to shun the UN and ICC and do what they must do to secure the safety of their own people in their own sovereign nation. Especially make sure that you run again - you will have our support - and stand firm in the conviction that "No palestinian state will exist west of the Jordan"!
