| "Events and Meanings of May 2, 2002" Shoshannah Taliya-Ashira 2 May 2002 Shalom Chaverim, This has been a most unusual day. I watched as our President, along with the EU, Russia, and Arab Nations got together to decide the fate of Israel. However, Israel was missing from today's events. You see, it no longer matters what Israel wants, or what is best for her People. The nations of the world have decided to reward the Palestinians for blowing up Jewish People! No big deal to the world, after all they are just "Jews," a People who are becoming more and more hated, with each passing day! ; ( The Palestinians have won for the moment, and for their efforts they will be given, a big chunk of Israel. So much so, that it will mean Israel's security won't mean a thing. She will be extremely vulnerable to those who hate her, and seek to drive her into the sea. President Bush can not call America back to prayer while supporting this land give away. Surely, G-d laughed at him for doing so. G-d won't bless any Country that turns against Israel. His Word says so! Yesterday, President Bush saw to it that Arafat the terrorist was set free. Due to this action, each of us must ask ourselves, whose side is he really on? I have come to the conclusion that he is against Israel. I have come to the conclusion that he is leading our nation into the One World Government and the One World Religion. I fear for America. Mark my words all hell is going to break loose. Look for more vicious tornadoes, floods, pestilences, droughts and hurricanes, to name just a few. Look for America to start losing many of her soldiers in her wars. Look for her blessings to become far and few in between. The whole world may be coming against Israel, but G-d is on her side. He is tired of seeing His People killed and maimed. G-d's Word says He will destroy ALL the nat! ions that come against Israel. and so He will... Before President Bush was elected he promised to stand with Israel, and to see to it that Jerusalem would become the Capitol of Israel. Well, he lied, just as President Clinton, before him did! Al Gore may as well have been our President. Certainly, he couldn't have done any worse (as far as turning against Israel goes). At least, we knew what to expect with him. Bush misled (and is misleading) us. Yet, many can't see that, just yet. So what if he claims to be a Christian, Hitler did, too! People can hide behind anything for a while, but we will know them by their fruits, sooner or later. I take a strong stand for Israel because G-d does. What is important to Him should be important to us. While millions of people are concerned about the "Church of the Nativity," I am concerned about G-d's Chosen People and those who are being held against their will. Churches can be replaced, but people, can't be. Arafat is already trying to incite the world against Israel. Don't take him serious when he claims to care about any church. He is just doing that to try and get Christians to go against Israel, and the saddest thing is, it is working with thousands of Christians! But, thank G-d for the people who can see between the lines. Every great Empire that went against Israel lost their power, the Greek Empire, the Roman Empire, the Egyptian Empire, the Persian Empire, and even the British Empire. She is but a shell of what she once was. That is because she went against Israel. This is why we should try to get people to see these things. I pray with all my heart that America snaps out of her slumber, and once again, takes a solid stand for Israel. Those who bless Israel shall be blessed, and those who curse her, shall be cursed. This is a Law of G-d that cannot be broken. We hear people saying, that Israel is the aggressor, that she needs to leave the Palestinian's land. But, I would beg to differ with them, the land belong to Israel. G-d gave it to them thousands of years, ago. The Palestinians have no rights to the land of Israel. They manufacture lies on the basis, that if people hear lies long enough, they will begin to believe them. This is what we see happening, now. The media has done much damage, by allowing these lies to be planted, within people's minds. Our Country is being divided, and G-d would say to those who are for Him and for Israel, get on His right hand side. Those who are against Him and against Israel, get on His left hand side. Those on the right hand side are the "sheep." Those on the left hand side are the "goats." To see what the future holds for these sheep and goats, please read Matthew Chapter 25.
