I stand with you
Matthew Mower 20 Sep 2002
When ever I read or hear your words it is as if I have found truth in a
sea
of nonesense.
I read your article in the Wall St Journal this morning, and I am
greatfull
for your supporting President Bush's efforts to oust Saddam.
I am American who is embarressed by our former administration's efforts
to
remove you from office and weaken Israel's position in
Israeli/Palistinian
affairs. Perhaps with your continued leadership, Israel may have
avoided the
many deaths it has suffered in the last year or so.
As a conservative within America's political spectrum there are few
international figures we look to as role models of leadership. Winston
Churchill was the first, Margaret Thatcher was the second. Time will
yield
to you as the third as you share their leadership.
I believe that the avoiding of war against Iraq by America is
nonesense. We
have been at war, we never stopped being at war with Iraq, we just have
to
be the ones to take the iniative to wage it so we can end it.
One American General in our Civil War, William T. Sherman described all
war
as hell. We wage it sooner, so we can end it sooner and secure our
peace.
Thank you for standing up for what's right. Me and my country thanks
you,
although many of our citizens may not know it.
