W. 19 May 2002 My American Heritage dictionary description of Palestine follows: 1.The land between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan river that was occupied by the Hebrews in Biblical times. 2. This territory today is occupied by Israel. This is the way God wanted it to be and I believe that Israel is going to be tested with death and destruction until it is an accomplished fact. I also believe international law is on Israel's side in deciding what land belongs to Israel. The wars that Israel has had to fight to exist(after being attacked) should give credence to these claims. Many of us who support Israel see a bleak future unless you hang tough. If you don't sand for something, you might have to settle for anything. I believe that it would be a huge dishonor to all your dead citizens and soldiers to settle for anything less than what the dictionary stated. I have no doubt that I speak for many Americans who have a deep concern for the future of the state of Israel. May God bless our two countries. DW |
