Best regards R.B Mr. President, As an Iranian citizen I would like to congratulate you on your clear insight into the real situation in my homeland. For the past two decades Iranian people have suffered under a duplicitous regime that by various machinations has prolonged its evil hold on power. The fanatical tyrants in Iran with their mouths speak of peace and a 'dialogue of civilizations' but with their hearts and deeds pursue the cause of terror and destruction. It is high time for the world community to recognize the folly of trying to appease a regime that has consistently ignored all the civilized norms and flaunted acceptable international behaviour. With grandiloquent words and empty promises the Machiavellian government in Tehran tries to lull the international community into closing their eyes to the horrendous plight of the Iranian people. I want to thank you for not standing by and disregarding the perpetration of evil in my country but standing up for the cause of freedom and enduring peace. I want to thank you for your clear minded pursuit of the long term interests of the international community and your refusal to be turned aside by false hopes of making a compromise with international terrorists.
