my response to Dr Lerner Elsa Herman eherman8@pacbe.net ll Nov 2002 I will copy & paste my response to him to you as a way to encourage you over there slugging it out in this election. (we just finished a humdinger over here). Israel better listen & listen GOOD to men like Aaron & Bibi. Israel is at a pivotal point in her history, if she takes the wrong path it will be disastrous...of monumental consequences. This is not just another skirmish with Arafat or an Arab. It would be bad enough if Sharon stays in power but even far worse if the Labor Party prevails. With Peres you would die in short order...with Sharon you do it by inches. All he does is REACT to every bombing... After they hit you...in go the tanks and a show of rattling swords & then obediently pull out. Over & over again. Only a decisive victory will get them off your back. Never heard of the third guy but to say that your country's headed for destruction whether in leaps with a Peres or in baby-steps with Sharon is dose of some awful realities. Both are Truth. The Palistinans are NEVER going to stop killing you people...with or without a State of their own. I don't know what possess the Lunk-heads in the "Quartet" to suddenly come up with a demand to create a Palistinian State IMMEDIATELY, even before elections. I despise Colin Powell and his foggy-bottom State Dept for the pro-Arab stand he seems to carry. Bastard!! You just know the Europeans are as bad as having Syria hate you, same mind set. I have written many letters to Washington supporting the Jews. I am one of those Evangelical Christians who are glued to news about what's going on in Israel. We feel such a sense of urgency about the escalation of murder of Jews by Arabs. It seems endless. How I wish you would just get up one day and drop an A-bomb on them all...wipe them off the planet. Why is it that no one would think of forming a "quartet" to tell Russia, Korea, France, Spain or Germany just how they should run their country. Oh no!! But every damn day there is some country or countries & the UN up in Israel's face telling her how she should run her life...ALL THE WHILE, SOMEONE IS KILLING HER PEOPLE and she is supposed to go sit down & shut up!!! It is Satanic!!!!!! I fear for you precious people severly. Yes, indeed, Netanyahu is exactly the man for the hour. The Lion of Judah. (sounds good huh?) Many thousands of my fellow belivers pray for him. Whatever mistakes in the past you MUST NOT waste this giant of a man at this dark hour. Indeed you are right when you warn of the implications of Soverignty. Sharon seems to not notice the danger. These provisions would absolutely castrate you in terms of defense and bury your fate forever. NEVER allow the shackles of this to be on your wrists. " God in heaven, have mercy on Israel.. .Be gracious unto her lest her enemies destroy her." What can I say, Aaron...I'm about 8 thousand miles away from you & your country and not being a high ranking celebrity connected to a power base what can I do about the impended danger? All I have are my prayers. All I can do is place you on His alter and plead for His grace & mercy. But then that is not so futile afterall. He who simply spoke a command & all the planets were set into place & perfectly balanced to spin forever exactly where they are, He stuck Jupiter, Mars, Saturn, Pluto & Earth in the weightless sky and they continue to obey His orders...was it not He who set the boundries of the Oceans? Who else can design an elephant and a mosquito to have fully functioning digestive systems, eyes just right for their way of life, totally different legs & skin and yet each is perfect for their role in life. NOBODY. Not a bad man to have on our side. I wake before dawn and swing my legs out to side of my bed and start praying for my President, my country AND Israel...oh Israel.
