| My support Doug Allen 5 May 2002 Mr. Netanyahu: I want to personally extend my voice of support for Israel's desperate fight to survive while surrounded by its terrorist neighbors. I feel a need to apologize for the double talk rhetoric that comes from our president/government and of course, a misinformed world opinion. I find it incredible that our government refused to negotiate with the Taliban government. They've refused to negotiate with Iraq's government, having labeled them both terrorist supporting governments. Yet, the U.S. and European communities paint Arafat's regime as a legitimate governing body and not the terrorist organization that it truly is. Our support of Israel should be unconditional. I fully support America's right AND obligation to fight terrorism. Israel's fight is every bit the same as ours. Although we suffered terrorism on a grand scale on September 11th, I cannot imagine a world such as it is for an average Israeli citizen. You and all other Israeli citizens show us what the meaning of courage and perseverance truly means. I personally think the IDF should have gone after Arafat and killed him and his partners in crime. The world makes too many excuses for criminals. They afford them protection and popular favor which only encourages their continued "Mob" mentality. Its frustrating for all of us that the world cannot see reality for what it is. The homicide bombers strike first. Israel only responds. Your country, like ours, has no desire to engage in war. Why the world cannot understand this, I don't know. The grim reality is that these radical religious groups will bring our world to a point of WW III. And sadly, Israel and then the U.S. will have the blame placed on them. I think it's critical to back this declaration of war on terrorism 100%. It must be carried out with the full force of our military's strength. I applaud your public stance. It's so refreshing to hear a "politician" stand strong, say it like it is and can see the need for what MUST be done with or without so-called public support. Our president wimps out. We go about "asking" the rest of the world if it's ok for us to defend ourselves. We extend Americans' rights to these anti-American/Israeli terrorists and I'm appalled that we cater to them as we do. I hope you will once again become Israel's prime minister. I believe our government's typical democratic nice guy approach is considered a sign of weakness by these radical groups. They only understand an eye for an eye. I say we build our bombs and weapons around the clock. It's time to eliminate terrorist organizations now. We must do so with the most vicious fervor that we strike fear in those who threaten to annihilate our two countries. I wish you well. I wish and pray for Israel to find a way in which your people can live in peace. Please know, despite the hot air that comes from our president, that the vast majority of Americans do support and stand behind Israel. As we say here, "IT'S TIME TO KICK ASS!!!"
