Our plight
David Aschinberg 4 May 2002
Jews have historically been pacifists. Only after the European Nazis
attempted to wipe us out of existence, did we finally resort to using
force
to defend our very existence.
From pogroms to terrorist attacks we
have been
the target of hate, envy and genocide for the past two-thousand years.
Ever since Judah supposedly turned Jesus in to the Romans; blame has
wrongfully been focused on the Jews.
If that story is indeed true, why
do
people not blame the Romans that actually assasinated Jesus instead of
the
person that told them where he was.
Now we find ourselves in the twenty first century, and widespread
anti-semitism is as viscious as ever.
Imagine a middle east where the
entire
territory-Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Egypt, Syria, Turkey, Kuwait, Saudi
Arabia- was
populated and controlled by Jewish kings and dictators that constantly
murdered their own people.
Now try to fathom that the Muslims only had
control of a small strip of land (which is now Israel). Furthermore
imagine
that in that small strip of land there existed a hostile Jewish
population
that thought that they had the right to the land. They use terrrorism
and
the killing of civilians to try to reach their goals, and in response
the
Muslims go into the territories to wipe out the terrorism. Do you
think that
world opinion would be on the Jewish side, as in reality where the
reverse
exact situation is true and European opinion is on the Palestinian
side?
When the creepy, disgusting, excuse for a rodent known as Arafat
excitedly
exclaims, "Can you imagine?" and stomps his fist on a table, I
challenge him
to imagine the scenario that I just described. Fortuneately the
American
population is sick of Arab terrorism, and no matter how much spin some
members of the media attempt to put on the situation the majority of
the
American public is not fooled.
I believe that Mr. Netanyahu is the future of Israeli leadership.
I am
a 28
year old bankruptcy attorney in Chicago, however my dream is to someday
serve
Mr. Netanyahu in some type of way.
Israel is the most
radiant of
miracles, and no matter how tumultuous our journey continues to be our
flame
will never go out.
