| Peace Kathryn 10 April 2002 I remember sitting in history class in 8th grade, watching films of the holocaust. I remember crying and thinking to myself, it can never happen again. It started my search for the answers, as to why it happened. I read every book, watched every movie to try to find an explanation of why it happened. Because I really thought that if I could just understand it, it would never happen again. In the end, the only explanation I found was, there is no explanation. Yes, there are political reasons, but they do not answer the question of man's inhumanity to man. They do not answer the question of abject hatred. The hatred of Europeans for the Jewish people or the hatred of the Muslim Nations for the state of Israel, and anyone who supports them. I am not Jewish, yet I see the truth so clearly, why can't the Europeans see it. Peace at any price is never the answer. Arafat has manipulated the media and the world. He's a killer and he's truly evil, like much of the Arab world. It makes no difference if in the end Israel is forced to peace, the Arab world does not want peace. We know what they want. America must defend Israel at any cost. In the end, the only thing of true value we have are our souls. If we value our souls, we must always stand shoulder to shoulder with Israel, even if we are alone in the world. There are NO other options. In the past I always believed that people had a right to worship anyway they chose. Then I did some research into the Muslim religion. I no longer believe that. If a religion calls for mother's and father's to strap bombs to babies and sends children to throw rocks at soldiers, it's not a religion, it's evil. I'm am sorry, that this is happening again. I wish I could change it. I wish knowledge could enter into every human's heart and soul, knowledge of humanity to our fellow man, and the knowledge of God and his promise to Abraham, Isacc, Jacob, Joseph and Moses. With all the terrible things being said of Israel, I wanted you to know, that there are some of us who do understand why Israel is doing what it must do. That no matter what, you have my support.
