| Pictures from Ramallah murders
A letter to AP Joshua P. Fogelman, MD 17 Mar 2002 Link to pictuer Palestinian Justice or War Crimes? I am writing for comment from the AP wire service regarding the deletion of pictures of the Palestinian "collaborators" who were killed, mutilated and then dragged through the streets of biblical Bethlehem and layed out in Manger Square by Palestinians, and similarly of the "collaborator" hung up in central Ramallah just a few days ago by Palestinians. According to unconfirmed reports, pictures of these events got into the press. However, for some reason, the AP has deleted them from their photo database. I am writing to inquire about the reasons for the deletion. I hope that the AP supports full freedom of the press and has not simply given into Arab pressure and threats.
