Shalom Aloha ya'll!
I, too, thought after the terrorist attacks, Americans would finally see the folly of "political correctness." Instead, PC has exploded into insanity since then. After the "lone gunman" shot people in line at an El-Al counter, we wondered "could this possibly be connected to Al-Quida? This is just so hard to figure out." What does it matter? He was a Muslim who hated Jews and America, whether or not he chatted daily with Al.The shoe-bomber - lone gunman or al-Quida? By the time we got to the Washington sniper, most reporters couldn't even bring themselves to mention that he was a Muslim, or that "the youth" was a stowaway who should have been deported as soon as he got here. We've not done one thing, not one, to protect our borders. We have, however, insisted that the Navy conduct it's exercises far from whales because the noise hurts their ears. That's what is important to us right now.
It won't take another 9/11 for us - it will take daily suicide bombers, which I'm surprised hasn't happened yet. We wonder why France dislikes us so after we liberated them in WWII. We didn't get into WWII because evil people were doing evil things to people. It was only after Pearl Harbor that we got involved. France was just an afterthought.
God got us involved because Jews were being killed. It reminds me of what Mordecai said to Esther "if you don't help, salvation for the Jews will come from elsewhere, but who knows that you weren't brought to the kingdom for such a time as this.? Maybe that's why there is an America.
thanks,
Kitty Carr
