I have written to my Senators asking them to make a collective Senate motion of unequivocal support for Israel immediately. Having read some of the unbelievable news from Europe it is difficult not to despair. I am not Jewish--but my Father fought the Nazis in Europe and came home badly injured but proud to have fought to eradicate a terrible evil. To find Europe lapsing back into darkness is unthinkable...to find Israel beset by another evil is untenable. Israel has friends everywhere--we are with you.
