Colleen Russell, Kentucky 11/2/02 Dear Mr. Netanyahu: The leadership, expertise, statesmanship and sacrifice you and your family have given to your country and ours far surpass anything we will ever be able to commensurate. Thank you. My family and I have been enthusiastic supporters of yours for quite awhile. We felt you were the only sensible person who has served in the office of Prime Minister in recent years and were so disappointed when your country's answer to Bill Clinton took your place. I just finished rewatching "Raid on Entebbe" for the umteenth time (I am just as proud of the Israeli Commando Units as I am our Army Rangers and Delta Units.) As a person who knows what it is like to lose two brothers, I am so sorry you lost your brother. I'm sure you still miss him, and equally are proud of his memory and military service. I am also very sorry for the continual terror and loss the citizens of your country suffer on a daily basis. My family and I are believers in Jesus as the Jewish Messiah. We are, additionally, staunch believers in Israel as God's Chosen People and are extremely thankful that the Jews of the first century shared Jesus to the Gentile World. We support Israel's right to be the sole owner and proprietor of the Land of Israel and Jerusalem, lock, stock and barrel as God promised Abraham. We do not believe in trading land for peace because there will be no peace until the Messiah brings Peace. And, we do pray for the Peace of Jerusalem. May the Lord bless you. J.
