your address to CPAC on C-SPAN
Richard E. Radcliffe (19.2.01)
Mr. Prime Minister:
Sir, I was privileged to hear your address to CPAC on C-SPAN. I
totally
agree with your comments. May the peace of God be with you and Israel.
Do
not despair. You will be Prime Minister within a year. This "National
Unity"
government of Mr. Sharon and Mr. Barak, both of whom I respect for
their
military accomplishments and their strength of character, will fall by
that
time. Mr. Arafat does not wish peace. He wants the destruction of
Israel.
I also believe that is is required of the United States that we
defend
Israel as we did in 1973. A lot of people that I know ferried F-4Es to
Israel in October of 1973. I was on a B-52 crew sitting on some weapons
I
fervently prayed I wouldn't have to use during the "Yom Kippur" War.
Later,
when I changed over to F-4s did I find out some of the other things
that we
did to preserver Israel against the Egyptians and the Syrians.
I believe that King Hussein of Jordan was an honorable man who wished
the
best for his people. May He rest in peace. I also believe that his son,
King
Abdullah, is of the same mind. May I suggest that one of the ways to
negate
the power of our friend "SoDamn Insane" is for the Hashemite Kingdom
and
Israel to become really good friends. This will be accomplished by the
introduction of the concepts of freedom to Jordan. While this may
happen
naturally, I believe that the current King will slowly introduce these
concepts himself.
I believe that peace in the Middle East comes, in the end, from the
repudiation of Islamic Fundamentalism and the establishment of the
principles of freedom and republican government among the peoples of
the
Earth.
May God be with you,
signed
