Your show last night re: Israel and Hamas

I find it difficult, and frankly disgusting that you would make a comparison between the Hamas terrorists and the IDF.
Hamas deliberately targets innocent civilians and abuses children and teenagers by propagandizing them and recruiting them as suicide bombers. The Palestinian Authority, by the way has been sanctioned by the International Pediatric Association
for it's cynical use of children in this way. Hamas itself is a terrorist organization, and has been identified as such by the US Government. As such, they are an enemy of everything America stands for, and I feel your overly symphathetic portrait of this group is misguided, to say the least.
As for the comparison with the IDF, Israel's army has deliberately set out time and time again to avoid the death of innocent civilians, even when the `heroic' terrorists are using them as shields and hiding among them, as evidenced by the recent battle in Jenin. Israel could very easily have simply used it's air force to level the area in question and perserved the lives of it's troops, as the US did in Afghanistan. Instead, the IDF fought the terrorists building to building, in a battleground where every building and even corpses were booby trapped, all in an effort to minimize civilian casualties. What do you think Hamas would have done in a similar situation?
I urge you to consider the nature of your coverage of this issue. Your whole tone was extremely critical of Israel, a loyal ally of ours fighting for it's survival.
I would like to suggest that you read `From Time Immemorial' a book by Joan Peters for an objective and statistical look at the origins of the Arab Jewish conflict and the true nature of the Palestinian refugee problem. The book is in print and readily available.
Sincerely,
Robert Miller
